(a) It is learnt that a cash sum amounting to RM17,000.00 belonging to Pertubuhan Peladang (Cawangan Bintangor) was reported lost and/or misappropriated lately.
(i) How could this incident happen? Was there any police report lodged by the office bearer(s) of Pertubuhan Peladang (Cawangan Bintangor)? If yes, what is the outcome of the investigation?
(ii) What preventive measure(s) will be taken by the ministry concerned to ensure that the same shall not recur in any part of Sarawak in future?

(b) There were complaints from some members of Pertubuhan Peladang (Cawangan Bintangor) that the Pertubuhan Peladang, Bintangor Branch Annual General Meeting ("the said AGM 2008") was not properly convened as the Unit's Meetings at Sg Tulai, Sg Tulai Paku and Tung Ah Road which were supposed to be held before the said AGM 2008 were not held at all before the said AGM 2008.

185. To ask the Chief Minister and Minister for Planning and Resource Management:

Should the Sarawak Government not timely formulate a whole new land policy, to include:
(a) Permanent land tenure for all residential properties;
(b) An automatic lifting of Section 47, after two years;
(c) Full scale and expeditious survey of NCR land, followed by early and appropriate issue of land lease titles to the native people of Sarawak; and
(d) The withdrawal of Section 47 imposition affecting some 8,000 hectares of land at Bako, Sejingkat and Muara Tebas, thus allowing local residents to develop land rightly theirs to prosper on?
